Terms of Service
Last updated 3 November 2026. These terms apply to the LurkChain website, MCP server and REST API.
1. Who we are
LurkChain (“LurkChain”, “we”, “us”) provides on-chain data to AI assistants and to software through a website, an MCP server and a REST API (together, the “service”). The service is operated by LurkChain Labs Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
By using the service you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf.
2. The service
LurkChain reads public blockchain data and data from third-party sources, organises it, and returns it on request. The service is read-only. It does not hold funds, place trades, sign transactions or ask for private keys or seed phrases.
Parts of the service are labelled beta on the site. Beta features may change, pause or be withdrawn.
3. Accounts
- You need an account to use the MCP server or the REST API. The live data pages on the website do not need one.
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including calls made by assistants or software you connect.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- One free-credit offer per person. We may verify eligibility and refuse or remove credit that we reasonably believe was obtained by abuse.
4. Plans, credits and payment
- Usage is measured in data calls. The cost of each tool or endpoint is shown in the documentation and in each response.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
- Unused calls carry over while your plan is active. Calls and credit have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded, except where the law requires.
- Free credit expires 7 days after signup.
- Prices exclude VAT and similar taxes, which are added where they apply. We will give notice before a price change affects your next renewal.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute or offer the service's data as a competing data feed, except as allowed in writing;
- get around rate limits, credit metering or access controls, or share one account's access among unrelated users;
- disrupt, probe or overload the service, or use it to attack anyone else;
- use the service to harass, dox or target a private individual, or for any unlawful purpose;
- present LurkChain data as investment advice from LurkChain.
6. Data and accuracy
Blockchain data is public, but reading it is not perfect. Sources can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Labels for wallets are best efforts and can be mistaken. Numbers can differ from other sites because of different methods or time windows.
We work to keep data accurate and to say where it came from, but we do not promise that any result is complete, current or free of errors. Check anything important before you rely on it.
7. No financial advice
The service provides data and analysis for information only. Nothing on the site or in any answer is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. How a wallet traded in the past says nothing certain about what happens next. You are responsible for your own decisions.
8. Third-party services
You use LurkChain through assistants and tools made by other companies, such as AI chat apps and code editors. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for how a third-party assistant interprets or presents LurkChain data.
The live data pages fetch public data from third-party sources directly in your browser. Those sources have their own terms.
9. Intellectual property
The service, the site, the LurkChain name and logo, and our documentation belong to us or our licensors. You may use results returned to you for your own purposes, including in your own research and products, subject to section 5. Public blockchain data itself is not owned by us.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or where the law requires. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability. Some places do not allow these disclaimers, so parts may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LurkChain is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for trading losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
